December 2024

December changelog featuring new platform settings for infrastructure management and Kubernetes object modifiers.

New platform settings

We launched Platform settings on our platform. You can use it to configure your existing resources on nullplatform to orchestrate the user of your services.

Here's what you can manage:

  • Compute and containers: cloud providers, container orchestration, and compute management
  • Dev tools: code and asset repositories
  • Networking: Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

👉 Check our supported integrations for more info on this.

How to access platform settings (UI)

You can either:

  • access it directly using: https://<your-org-slug>.app.nullplatform.io/settings.
  • select Platform settings from the dropdown menu next to your profile.

Platform settings

Deprecation notice: runtime configurations and NRN API

We want to inform you that he following features may be removed in future updates:

We recommend using platform settings to manage and configure your organization’s infrastructure and operations moving forward.

Customize Kubernetes with object modifiers

You can now configure Kubernetes manifests before deployment using object modifiers.

Key benefits

  • Dynamic configuration: Adjust manifests dynamically without manual edits.
  • Reusable modifications: Define once, apply anywhere—across multiple deployments, clusters, or environments.
  • Context-aware replacements: Inject variables and settings based on your runtime context.

👉 Learn how it works, review our example configuration, and more details in our documentation.

Force delete misconfigured scopes

The new force delete option allows you to remove scopes that cannot be deleted normally due to configuration errors, such as misconfigured providers.

What you need to know:

  • Approval workflows and policies will proceed as usual and won't be skipped.
  • The option becomes available after you’ve already tried to delete the scope using a standard delete request and it failed.

👉 Check our docs and API reference for more info on force deleting a misconfigured scope.

Happy holidays from the nullplatform team! ❤️
